Second week in AQ40 we manage to clear all the way up to Twins. Excluding Viscidus who is way out of our league atm, best (and only) attempt so far was at 90% hp.
On the bright side, we managed to down Fankriss the unscarred, battleguard Sartura and Princess Huhuran (hard :o).
So now all that remains for us is Viscidus - If you want him down get nature resistance gear and frost wands!!! (frost oils for melee) - The Twins - We need to boost our warlocks through countless Strat runs and godknowswhere to get full shadow resistance sets - Ouro - Hes a piece of cake, and then finally C'thun.
PS: We also managed to do Chromaggus in Blackwing Lair on the ultimate "hardmode" which is the hardest moveset combination last Friday! Ignite flesh + Acid breath. Painfull dots...
Heres a picture of Enigmatic in front of Huhuran. Decided to start lining people up after rank in the pictures (Ironically the toad is closer than any of us :( )
If you ever want any full-size pictures then you are free to go to our raid progress album in the gallery! -
After finishing Blackwing Lair earlier than scheduled we decided to give the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj a go, as it has been a while since we last tried. Getting past those horrible trash mobs without a wipe we managed to take down The Prophet Skeram after 4 attempts (a grand total of 10 attempts counting previous raids) and we were rewarded with some sucky shaman loot.. And some NR gear for the tanks but that isnt important.
Moving on from the prophet to some ridiculously easy trash mobs, we started rushing through the instance (until we came to the trash that split up when they died, its rare you get closer to wiping than this!). We eventually reached The Bug Family, and after quickly refreshing the tactics for the raid members we gave it a go. The Bug Family went down on the first attempt! They were suprisingly easy! Heres a screenshot of The Prophet Skeram, Im not able to post the picture of the Bug Family as Sillygnome did that and he still hasnt uploaded the pictures >:(
So GZ to Enigmatic for 2 bosses down in AQ40!

Too few raiders can raid on Fridays compared to the other raid days. I have been thinking of moving the raid day for a long time now, but it isnt a process that can be rushed. I have spoken to the officers and they have agreed that too few raiders can meet up on Fridays, and moving the raid day to another day would be better. I have opened a poll on the website (only available to registered guildmembers) where you can vote on which day you would prefer to replace Fridays raid with, or if you want to keep it as it is. If there is one day that is prefered far above the others then I will take it into considerance, but most likely this day will be moved to Saturday.

Three out of four of the Nightmare Dragons were downed by Enigmatic yesterday. All but Taerar as he was taken down by some grotesque lvl 80s who thought they were pro killing a poor lvl 60 dragon.
We started at Ysondre in feralas (Which is on the picture) who went down in the first attempt, and moved on to ashenvale to take down Lethon, who also went down in rapid succession.
On our way to Hinterlands we got reports of Taerar being attacked in Duskwood by a group of 80s (We hate you!), robbing us of our chance to say that we have downed them all. However, we arrived at Emeriss, a hated world boss because of his Corrupted Earth attack that takes 100% of the entire raids hp over 10 seconds. On our second attempt Emeriss was forced to the ground and slain. After the raids on the Nightmare Dragons, we continued on to Blackwing Lair, downing Razorgore the untamed and Vaelstrasz the corrupt. After hours of wipes in the halls of strife we finally managed to down Broodlord Lashlayer, and we decided to call it a day.
Today (24.08.09) we continued in Blackwing Lair, downing the three dragons with few casualties, moving on to the WAY more difficult trash mobs in between. After they had gone down, we reached Chromaggus and Nefarian, both whom we killed. So creds to Enigmatic, our first Blackwing Lair clear with 31 talentpoint rules enforced!

People have noticed that the last news on our website was made some time ago, and wonder if nothing happens in Enigmatic anymore. Well, we are still alive and more active than ever. Just not much news ;)
Sooo, heres a few things worth mentioning on the front page. With our 31 Talentpoint Maximum implemented, we have cleared Zul'Gurub, Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj, Onyxias Lair, Molten Core, and Razorgore / Vaelastrasz in Blackwing Lair! Blackwing Lair has become way harder, even with more raiders!
Also an awesome bug arrived with the 3.2 patch, which causes Razorgore the Untamed to randomly self destruct and 1-hit KO the entire raid, resulting a lot BWL pugs repeatedly wiping and not being able to come past him! While we have figured out a method to take him down ;) -
Today Nefarian went down on the first attempt! A major disappointment to the entire raid... So we decided straight away that we would now implement the 31 talentpoint maximum! If you arent sure what I mean when I say a 31 talentpoint maximum click HERE. (Thank you to the other classic guild who posted this on the eu-forums, and whoever this Bendak guy is who made it ;) )
And well, Nefarian is down guys so the entire T2 set is allowed + many other goodies, and now only AQ40 remains! (If we can still manage BWL after the nerf)
Heres a picture with the raid (most of it) in front of Nefarians corpse!
-
On second try, Chromaggus went down without a single casualty (you wouldnt believe how many times people were below 3%), adding a new blackwing lair boss to our guildprogress!
7/8 Cleared in Blackwing Lair, only Nefarian remaining now! Whom we will completely demolish nearest Sunday!
Heres a picture of the guild in front of Chromaggus.
And as the awesome photographer Cyrush is he managed to take the picture while I was distributing loot on the other side of Chromaggus, so you cant see me (Damn you Cyrush!)
And as usual below the picture, the little part for the lootwhores:
You can now use Empowered leggings, T2 shoulders, Chromatic Boots, Claw of Chromaggus, Elementium Reinforced Bulwark,
Chromaticly Tempered Sword and last but definately not least, Ashjre'thul, Crossbow of Smiting. Many other items as well, but they arent worth mentioning! ;)
